Lance AKA "lancer pants" he had the best temperament and was raised with my youngest son, Matthew. In first grade, Matthew wrote his first book about his big white dog. He wrote, "When you rub his ears just right, he would make this funny sound". After Lance retired from the show ring we dabbled in lure coursing. He learned to "play on the field" and never finished his Field Championship. He became the habitual "counter cruiser." One midnight, he stole a loaf of bread and a tub of butter. The evidence was found in his crate. With limited showing, Lance finished easily with three majors.
Lance at 11 1/2 years.
He was a gentleman to his last breath.
